Part 2: Steel, powdercoat. Seventeen custom framed laser cut and powdercoated steel panels integrated into guardrail on platform. 150 ft x 4 ft.
This artwork was inspired by community input and the beautiful tree-filled parkland around Sligo Creek near the future Dale Drive lightrail station. An abstracted representation in steel of Sligo Creek threads through the guardrail fence panels, and 13 panels with imagery inspired by local flora are integrated into the glass windscreen.
