KING COUNTY METRO TRANSIT ATLANTIC CENTRAL BASE PARKING GARAGE; SEATTLE, WA. Poured concrete wall with applied elements: steel, fiberglass, aluminum, concrete stain, painted aluminum light fixtures (3).  60 ft  x 100 ft x 5 ft (variable).

This work is on a 5 story concrete shearwall & includes a very large sculptural composition with lights and (pre-construction designed) wall perforations - making it both a day and night piece. I worked with the architects, engineers, general contractor, neighborhood & client representatives from design development to installation. The integrated spiral organic shapes work formally and conceptually with the curves of freeway ramps, bus wheels, plant growth, etc. to enliven the industrial setting and welcome drivers 24/7. Commissioned by King County/Metro Transit.
